If you'd like to donate...
The Marion County Park District has used more than $880,000 in grants, in kind donations, and local matching funds to purchase the land for a rail-trail, build a trailhead building, pave a parking lot, and begin to develop the first mile. For 2017 we still need to raise about $15,000 in local matching funds, and we also need to set aside funds for future maintenance of the trail.
There are several ways that you can help:

Make a tax-deductable donation to the Prairie Parks Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 foundation set up to receive tax-deductible donations to help the Marion County Parks.
